| Our Medical Assisting program focuses on clinical and administrative medical assisting courses that give you the skills needed to succeed in the medical industry. |
At other schools you will take other general education courses. |
Job Placement
|
| We have life time job placement! Doctor's offices frequently call us to list job openings in their offices as opposed to advertising in the newspaper. If you want to change your job, or simply would like to find another one, contact the school and we will send out a complete listing of jobs available. |
Other schools and colleges offer no job placement. They place the burden on their students to find jobs. |
Externship Programs
|
| We have an awesome externship program that has been around for 30 years! We have over 150 approved externship sites! You can choose to extern in any specialty in the medical field. You can work in small private clinics or family practices all the way up to all of the large hospitals here in Hawaii. |
Other schools place the burden on their students to look and apply to externship sites themselves with no guidance or support. |
Class Sizes
|
| Our class sizes are very small. Each student gets personalized individual attention from our outstanding teaching staff. |
Lecture halls can be filled and crowded with hundreds of students. |

|
| Med-Assist School of Hawaii is the only private institution in Hawaii that is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). The U.S. Department of Education lists ABHES as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. |
Other schools operate under different business licenses. |
