Admissions Requirements
To enroll at Med-Assist School of Hawaii, prospective students must first come take our free entrance exam, given every Thursday at 1:00 PM. Results are usually available by the end of the day. Please fill out the contact us field at the bottom of the page if u would like to schedule an entrance exam with us.
The Exam
Our entrance exam takes about one and a half hours. There are two parts to the exam, math and reading; the reading is split into comprehension and vocabulary.
The math score is not a criteria for admission. It helps us to assess your math skills.
The Application
Once you have taken the admissions exam, come down to the school and fill out an application. Please bring the following documentation along with a $100 registration deposit to hold your spot for the upcoming class.
- Copy of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Physical Exam (Statement of Good Health from your Doctor)
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
- Measles status
- You also must start the first of three Hepatitis B vaccinations. The remainder of the injections will be finished before you graduate.
